Captured German Aircraft at Molesworth
In April 1943 some captured German Aircraft visited Molesworth to help combat crews better identify German aircraft. Visiting aircraft included: FW-190 (SE Fighter), JU-88 (2E Attack bomber), ME-109 (SE Fighter), ME-110 (2E Fighter - twin tail) and ME-163 (SE rocket fighter). We believe the photos below were taken at that time.
